Dr. Elizabeth “Liz” Hayden earned her undergraduate degree in Pre-Veterinary Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst before attending the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. During veterinary school, she was an active member of the Student Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (SVECCS) and the Small Animal Medicine Club. Her professional interests continue to include Emergency & Critical Care and Internal Medicine.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Liz enjoys reading and crafting, particularly crocheting; loves spending time with her Golden Retriever, Mayzie, and her Domestic Medium Hair, Eeyore; and, more recently, she has been enjoying kayaking and exploring the Portland area.
