Dr. Kassilke is originally from Virginia. She attended Auburn University for her undergraduate studies, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences. She then completed the South Dakota State University 2+2 program in partnership with the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. During her first two years at South Dakota State University, she earned a master’s degree in Biological Sciences before completing her veterinary education at the University of Minnesota, where she earned her DVM.
Dr. Kassilke has a particular interest in emergency and internal medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at the beach, running, and attempting to bake sourdough bread—with varying degrees of success.
