Dr. Callie Rogers will begin seeing clients on September 8, 2026.
Dr. Callie Rogers is a veterinarian with advanced training in comparative ophthalmology and a strong foundation in specialty, emergency, and academic veterinary medicine. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University and completed a small animal rotating internship and a research fellowship at the University of Wisconsin–Madison Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital before beginning a comparative ophthalmology residency at Cornell University.
Dr. Rogers’ clinical interests include the diagnosis and treatment of ophthalmic disease in companion animals and large animals, with particular experience in corneal disease, ocular surface disease, ocular neoplasia, retinal function testing, glaucoma, equine ophthalmology, and ophthalmic emergencies. Her background also includes hands-on experience supporting patients through diagnostics, treatment planning, and surgical preparation.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Rogers has contributed extensively to veterinary ophthalmology research, with publications and presentations focused on canine and equine ocular disease, the ocular surface microbiome, retinal aging, vision assessment, and advanced ophthalmic imaging. She has presented her work at national veterinary ophthalmology meetings and has been recognized with research funding and academic awards, including support from the ACVO Vision for Animals Foundation.
Dr. Rogers is passionate about collaborative, compassionate care and enjoys working as part of a multispecialty team to support pets and their families. She values clear communication with clients and referring veterinarians and is committed to helping owners understand their pet’s eye condition, treatment options, and long-term outlook.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Rogers enjoys reading, longboarding, snowboarding, trivia, and golf.
