How to administer eye drops to large dog

To properly administer eye drops in a large dog start by backing them against the wall while standing over them. 

Place your hand underneath dog’s chin and elevate nose upwards

Hold medication bottle in your other hand using your first two fingers

Use pinky of same hand that you are holding the medication bottle in to lift upper eyelid

Administer one drop of the medication to the eye, it is ok if drop lands on white of eye, clear cornea or pink inside of eyelid

You do not need to blink eyelids. The eye drop will absorb and spread on its own
