Check Glucose Level

To check the glucose level:

Turn the reader on by pressing the “Home” button or touch “Check Glucose” from the home screen.

Hold the reader within 1.5 inches of the sensor to scan it (the sensor wirelessly sends glucose readings to the reader).

If sounds are turned on (see “Settings” on reader), the reader beeps when the sensor has been successfully scanned. The sensor can be scanned through neck wrap.

After the initial 1 hour warm-up period, the sensor can be scanned as often as every minute but must be scanned no less than every 8 hours to capture all the readings because the sensor can store only 8 hours of data.

The reader needs to be charged every 7 days on average (charging cord is in the starter kit).
